I have had a few "bad mother" moments since the twins were born. One was not going to the awards ceremony when Sophie won the AR award for 1st grade. Another moment was realizing Sophie had worn her little brothers jeans to school (the knee marks were at her mid thigh). Soooo to prevent this from happening again and also to help us plan her daily outfits the night before (nice thought). We have divided her clothes with some fun dividers. We love our circle cutter that we used to make the universal birthday banner that we WILL use until the end of time. And we used the leftover letter stickers from same banner. So on our last day of summer we were crafty and it felt good. It feels much better than the look of disappointment I received on awards day....
The Birthday Banner that I copied off of Etsy and have used for everyone (I do add their name and birthday year) |
Julie - you are a great mom!!! I only have two kids and wish I could be as great as you. By the way, are you doing Kindermusik this year for the twins? When? Facebook me - was going to sign Matthew up but we won't be back for the start

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, great picture of the 5 of you! I love both of these ideas. Really need this for Caelan's clothes. He has grown out of some things that he never got to wear. I found plastic partitions, but am to cheap to order them. And I have a circle cutter already from wedding stuff. I also want to steal the happy birthday banner. Just hope I remember it when Caelan's first birthday rolls around!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I need that in my own closet. . .
